In this presentation you will learn which plants are best to grow in your gardens to help attract, and ultimately benefit, pollinators.
Girls will also be introduced to a wide array of bee species and pollinators, as well as their benefits and importance to not only our ecosystem, but also to our food industry. You will also get an amazing virtual tour of our detroit hives to see how a hive functions on the inside!
Zoom links will be emailed out the day of the event. Patches included. On your honor, we ask that each girl register separately. We are grateful to Bees in the D for their partnership with us and we value Brian's time, please no link sharing.
Presenter Brian Peterson-Roest is the co-founder and president of Bees in the D, a non-profit organization devoted to the education and conservation of Honey Bees and other pollinators in Detroit and Southeast Michigan.
If we do not reach our minimum of 25 registrants 48 hours before the event, full refunds will be given.
