HONEY BOURBON IS BACK!
For the fourth year in a row, we're thrilled to announce our limited edition Honey Bourbon, and Bourbon Honey release is Friday, November 11! This is a very special collaboration made possible by our friends at Detroit City Distillery.
This year, tens of thousands of female "worker bees" traveled all across the city to gather pollen and nectar to bring back to the roof of the Detroit City Distillery Whiskey Factory to make into honey which found its way into this bourbon. It adds a beautiful sweetness and floral notes that literally capture the taste of Detroit.
Here's a summary of the sweet news about this year's release.
Honey Bourbon Launch Party on November 11 at DCD. The tasting room will be buzzing with bourbon tastings, honey cocktails, and other honey-themed treats.
Detroit City Distillery LOWERED the price of Honey Bourbon this year. “It's our way to say thanks for buying so much whiskey all these years!” Honey Bourbon is now $60 a bottle, and bourbon barrel-aged honey is $40.
For the first time, Honey Bourbon will be available in distribution. Find it across Michigan at local grocers, liquor stores, bars, and restaurants.

The Truest Taste of Detroit
This year Detroit City Distillery increased production of Honey Bourbon so they could make it available statewide, and that means harvesting a lot more honey. If you buy a bottle of Honey Bourbon from them, that honey comes from hives on the rooftop of their Whiskey Factory. If you buy a bottle at your local grocery store, that honey comes from hives across Detroit's skyline at places like the Ren Cen or the Foundation Hotel or the city's urban gardens like Detroit Abloom or Rouge Park.
When we say this is bespoke bourbon, we truly mean it is one of a kind. Every year is different due to weather, floral, and fauna that impact honey production. This year, hundreds of thousands of female "worker bees" traveled all across the city to gather pollen and nectar to make honey which found its way into this bourbon. It adds a beautiful sweetness that literally captures the taste of Detroit.
