Beekeeping Basics Workshop with Bees in the D - Plymouth PARC with Bees in the D

7 hour class @ $80.00 per person.

Join Brian Peterson as he shares his journey into the world of beekeeping, explaining common misconceptions, and the fascinating life of the honeybee. Workshop participants will learn the basics of beekeeping, what tools are needed, and have the opportunity to be suited up and visit active hives to collect and taste the honey.

We will be providing a full beekeeping suit and gloves. Please specify your outer coat size, as this will go over your clothes.

Please wear long pants, close toed shoes or boots, and please pull back long hair, or wear a ball cap.
Avoid any perfumes, cologne, strong soaps and avoid bananas before attending event as honeybees may be attracted to strong odors.
Since we’ll be interacting with the bees, all participants will be required to sign a waiver.
